Hilary believes in the mind-body connection and the importance of taking a comprehensive approach to address the overall well-being of clients. She is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment to share, explore, heal, and grow.
Much of Hilary’s empathetic and compassionate mindset stems from her own previous health challenges and personal losses. Hilary believes in making meaning out of life’s hardships, and helping her clients do the same.
Prior to entering the field of mental health counseling, Hilary had an extensive career in business and finance. Her own medical travails led her to pursue a certification in holistic health counseling, which, in turn, led to obtaining an advanced degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Melding the two, and synthesizing grief training along with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) allows her to offer a holistic, integrated framework to treat clients.
